A forward-thinking and dynamic gaming company is seeking a motivated and organised Office Assistant to join the team on a temporary basis. This role is crucial to the smooth operation of our office and will involve a range of administrative and business support tasks. 5 days a week in the office (centrally located). Working 9am to 6pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Office Administration:

    • Implement and maintain office systems.
    • Handle mail, manage spreadsheets, scan, photocopy, and file documents.
    • Arrange meetings, including room reservations and refreshments.
  • Travel and Event Coordination:

    • Schedule travel arrangements for staff and senior executives.
    • Coordinate company events, conferences, and seasonal occasions.
  • Financial Administration:

    • Assist with processing payments, managing invoices, and handling expenses.
  • Office Management:

    • Ensure the office is well-stocked and amenities are fulfilled.
    • Maintain office equipment and manage external suppliers.
  • HR and Employee Support:

    • Assist with onboarding new employees, including setting up their workspace and preparing welcome packages.
    • Provide administrative support for HR functions, ensuring confidentiality.
  • Health and Safety Compliance:

    • Ensure health and safety policies are up-to-date and implemented.
    • Maintain a clean and orderly office environment.

Requirements:

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and execute tasks independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work demands and handle ad-hoc tasks as needed.
  • Experience in an office management or administrative role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with basic accounting duties and office equipment maintenance is a plus.
