Representing some of the world's most well-known figures in every area of entertainment including music, TV, books, digital media and live entertainment. They're searching for a Music Assistant who would be responsible for liaising with business affairs and accounting divisions on an admin based level. This thrilling position will support different agents in the Music department and a real opportunity to get a full understanding on how the music industry operates. You would be responsible for procuring ticket sales counts for contracted shows, liaising with client's managers regarding certain show offers and/or contract for shows, maintaining artists, a real chance to work closely with some of the biggest names in the music industry. They're seeking for a candidate who is a highly passionate about music and has a strong attention to detail as well as well as excellent organisational skills.
Key features will include:
- Using the Agency Booking System on a consistent basis as well as keeping it up to date
- Handling all enquiries via phone and email
- Handling all costings and ticket figures
- Maintaining all business and promoters contact details
- Scheduling calls and meetings for agents
- Taking suggestions from agents and presenting them to management
- Managing all the money in for shows and chasing payments when necessary
- Keeping client info up to date including release dates, label management and account info
- Attending events and developing business relationships
- Assisting managers with immigration needs
The ideal candidate will have:
- A good understanding of the music industry and the nature of a talent agency
- Previous experience in the correct field
- Effective organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise a busy workload
