Handle Recruitment are working alongside a live music and events company, in recruiting an Accounts Assistant. The role will sit within a small dynamic accounting function and report directly into the Finance Director.

This role provides an amazing opportunity to have significant impact over the development of the company within the amazing live music sector. You will be a key player in the running of the accounts function

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with Month End procedures

  • Purchase Ledger

  • Sales Ledger

  • Bank Recs

  • Company Expenses

  • An individual eager to begin or in the early stages of their ACCA/CIMA.

  • Evidence of aptitude with numerical data - could be a numerate degree or accountancy exam passes.

  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.

  • Track record of meeting challenging deadlines.

  • Ability and maturity to interact regularly with a range of staff throughout the business.

  • Strong Excel skills.

  • 1-2 years' experience working in a finance team.

  • Relevant experience in music and/or events management helpful but not essential.

  • Educated to degree level with strong academics.
