Handle is currently partnering with a growing media business headquartered in West London. They are looking for an enthusiastic and commercially focused L&D Manager in a newly created position, working as part of a small and collaborative HR function. This role will own L&D, developing the core offering, overseeing, and managing the learning lifecycle from onboarding, through to performance management, management development as well as soft skills. The role will be a blend of design and delivery, as well as working with providers and optimising the use of learning technology. There's loads to get stuck into, lots of quick wins and as the L&D piece becomes more established in London, and with continued business growth, there will be opportunities to elevate the role and work on international initiatives. As the business continues its growth via acquisitions, you'll support the culture piece by using L&D initiatives to bring cross functional teams together.
Ideal candidates…
- Will bring prior experience working in a similarly busy, broad, L&D remit
- You'll be comfortable designing and delivering a range of L&D programs from entry level though to management
- Will have a strong commercial focus and have ideally supported sales functions
- You will thrive working in an autonomous role and have the proactive approach to actively seek solutions
- DEI will be a priority for you in the L&D role, woven into all you do
- You will have strategic vision as well as being someone used to rolling up sleeves and delivering what's needed
- You'll be someone who thrives working in person and embedding yourself into the teams.
- If you had CIPD or 'Train the Trainer/ qualification that would be an added bonus, as well as being an experienced user of a range of psychometrics/ other tools e.g. MBTI
