ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT - MEDIA - LONDON

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Assistant with at least 1 years experience to join world renowned film and television production company based in their London offices. This Accounts Assistant will be responsible for managing the transactional functions as well as assisting the management of month end processes along with day to day finance and other ad-hoc duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for invoice, expense, and credit card postings
  • Preparing various management and month end reports
  • Cashbook postings
  • Some credit control
  • Supports the Management Accountant with the weekly cash-flow forecast
  • Monthly bank reconciliations
  • Any ad hoc Financial duties as requested by the CFO
  • Processing payment runs
  • Balance sheet reconciliations

SKILLS:

  • Keen attention to detail
  • 1+ years experience within an accounting or finance function
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Relevant degree or qualification (preferable)
  • Flexible, ambitious and able to take on new responsibilities
  • Able to communicate well with those inside and outside the Finance Department
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft excel
  • Interest within the media and film industry
