Interim Director of Finance needed for a market leading global media brand! This is a technically focused role on a 12-month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for internal and external management reporting, liaising with auditors, overseeing accounting policies and control assurance and ensuring global tax compliance.

Key responsibilities -

Collaborate with Divisional Finance Directors to ensure they are accountable for managing their divisional finances
Maintain strong internal controls around financial reporting processes, ensuring data integrity and compliance with reporting standards and regulatory requirements
Improve balance sheet control, management, and ownership to enhance the reliability of financial data
Ensure all regulatory and compliance deadlines are met in a timely manner
Take responsibility for comprehensive cash reporting across the company to enhance working capital efficiencies
Provide inspiring leadership, supporting career development and fostering talent retention

Candidate requirements -

Qualified accountant with at least 10 years + post qualification experience
Previous experience in senior financial leadership roles within matrix-managed production or media businesses
Media/Film/TV production experience
Skilled in managing multiple senior and executive-level stakeholders, with the ability to drive significant change and activities that have a broad impact
Extensive experience working with financial accounting systems
Strong understanding of taxation and financial controllership at the group level
