Interim Finance Business Analyst needed for a market leading, and instantly recognisable media business. The main focus of this position will be to provide financial support and analysis to finance teams and senior stakeholders. This is a fantastic opportunity for an established Analyst to get their foot in the door of a highly reputable, blue chip organisation!
Key responsibilities-
- Manages the service provider relationship to ensure timely and accurate delivery of monthly accounting tasks, supporting period and year-end close processes, and resolving issues with the service provider lead as needed.
- Analyse and provide commentary on Digital and Central functions' financial results.
- Review monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
- Supports Finance Business Partners in producing monthly data for consolidated submissions and performance reports
- Track actual spend vs. forecast and encourage adoption of self-service tools
- Contribute to rolling cashflow forecast preparation
- Continuously review, recommend, and implement business process and system improvements.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and support for business activities and projects
Candidate requirements
- Qualified accountant - CIMA, ACA, ACCA or similar
- Have strong financial and management accounting experience within in a multi-national organisation
- Previous experience of financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and business partnering
- Strong numerical and analytical skills reflecting an ability to manipulate and interpret data
- Ability to take complex data/principles and to communicate these in an understandable way
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA
