We are working with a leading household name in the food industry, and they are looking for a Facilities Coordinator to join the team! Reporting into the Facilities Manager and working alongside a team of Facilities Assistants, your role will be the 'go-to' person in the office and providing a productive and creative environment for the staff and visitors. This role is based 5 days a week in the office.

This exciting role offers the opportunity to delve into planning details, tackling issues in the office as well as supporting the Events Team with logistics where needed! We are looking for a Facilities Assistant with a can-do attitude, who has attention to detail, and strong organisational skills. Flexibility may be required to support events, meetings, or maintenance work.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate smooth running and day-to-day facilities in the work space.
  • Act as the main point of contact for facilities-related queries, for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in office space planning, re-locations, and desk setups.
  • Ensure accurate records of maintenance schedules, service contracts, and inventory.
  • Work with the Events Manager to coordinate office events and meetings, ensuring smooth logistics.
  • Working with Health & Safety Adviser's, implementing polices and ensuring staff adhere to them.
  • Support the Facilities Manager on projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience within a facilities-based role, preferably within a similar industry, but not essential.
  • Strong, clear communication with the confidence to build relationships with stakeholders and vendors.
  • Proactive, flexible, and able to prioritise effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and facility management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours when needed.
