Are you passionate about music and eager to launch your career with one of the industry's most exciting teams? We are looking for a New Release Assistant to join the Commercial Operations department at a renowned record label.

This role is based in onsite Mon-Thu and remote on Fri, and offers an incredible opportunity to work at the heart of the global music industry.

As a New Release Assistant, you will support the Commercial Operations team in managing new releases, ensuring they are set up for maximum success globally. You'll play a vital role in various aspects of release management, reporting, and partner coordination, while working alongside some of the most innovative minds in the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Input assets into Monday.com to assist markets in setting up campaigns.

  • Reporting: Compile and forecast sales figures.

  • Partner Management: Handle tasks related to platforms such as SoundCloud, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Vevo.

  • General Support: Coordinate couriers, prepare presentations, and manage meeting schedules.

  • Cost Approvals: Oversee physical product costings for approval.

  • Pricing Management: Set digital download prices using internal tools.

  • Release Schedule: Maintain the Commercial Affairs release schedule.

Qualities and Experience Required:

Driven & Proactive:

  • Confident, outgoing, and self-motivated with a strong sense of personal drive.

Organised & Detail-Oriented:

  • Excellent IT skills, especially Word and Excel (advanced Excel skills).

  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

  • Impeccable attention to detail.

Commercially Aware:

  • Proven ability to identify and maximise opportunities.

  • A proactive approach, continuously seeking ways to improve processes.

Collaborative & Communicative:

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

  • Experience working independently and as part of a team.

Financially Savvy:

  • Ability to interpret financial and analytical data.

Knowledgeable:

  • Familiarity with eCommerce is a bonus.

Temporary role on an ongoing basis. Must be available to start immediately.
