Reception/Office Coordinator

At Handle we work on lots of fantastic opportunities within the creative space working with some of the world's biggest names! We have partnered with a leading creative agency who are looking for a Receptionist/Office Co-ordinator to join them on a temporary basis but excitingly, it could turn into something long-term for a right candidate.

We're looking for an energetic, proactive Receptionist/Office Coordinator, with excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail. You will have effective communication and problem-solving abilities, allowing you to work collaboratively with various teams across their London office.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming guests in a warmly and efficiently.
  • Answer calls in a polite manner.
  • Implementing and maintaining office policies and processes.
  • Booking meeting rooms day-to-day and keeping them tidy.
  • Ensuing the kitchen and office is stocked with supplies - ordering stationary weekly.
  • Booking and accepting couriers.
  • Organise staff events/birthdays.
  • Assist the C-Team with any additional ad-hoc PA duties as required.
  • Supporting HR with starter/leaver information.
  • Liaising with booked in contractors when facilities manager is OOO.
  • Office maintenance appointments etc. & passing on any maintenance messages.

Skills:

  • Receptionist experience in media agencies and companies.
  • Have strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Be flexible and adaptable to new ways of working.
  • Be able to multi-task and identify key business issues.
  • Be proactive with a strong desire for continuous improvement.
  • A good team player.
  • Bonus points if you're first aid qualified.


These are for temporary roles starting in April and early May, but it could turn into longer-term opportunities for the right candidate.

Rate is from £13.15 per hour + holiday, typically working from 9AM-5:30PM (varying depending on client).
