A growing Media and Sports business are looking to hire a permanent part time Bookkeeper to come on board and take on the day to day finance duties.

These duties would include invoice processing, expenses and reconciling costs against the relevant projects. You will be working closely with a team of external accountants and reporting directly into the managing director.

We are looking for a hands on individual with a passion to join the Creative industry, someone who has the knowledge and gravitas to jump into a hands on role and be an integral part of the team.

This is a part time role offering 1-2 days per week based in the offices in Central London.

Key responsibilities:

  • Raise and issue invoices

  • Process supplier invoices

  • Reconcile entries in Clearbooks and clear bank account transactions

  • Manage staff expenses and cost them against the relevant project

  • Liaise with external accountants

  • Create payout summary for key talent

  • Manage VAT reconciliation

  • Liaise with external payroll providers

  • Manage subscriptions/insurance/employee benefits, ensuring accurate recording of details

Key skills:

  • Prior experience working within a similar role

  • Ideally a background within a Creative environment

  • Hands on team player with ability to prioritise own work load

  • Excellent administration skills with keen eye for detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • A friendly, warm personality with a love of delivering great service
