Are you ready to embark on a thrilling journey in the world of logistics and freight forwarding? We are working with a leader in the industry, established in 2003, who is seeking a talented Operations/General Manager to spearhead the team and take them to new heights!
Whilst providing logistics solutions for the Live Touring, Theatre, Film, TV, and Sport industries, as Operations/General Manager, you will be at the helm of our dedicated team, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and aligning with company and departmental objectives. Your proactive approach and sharp attention to detail will drive efficiency and excellence across all facets of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Operations Team with expertise and strategic direction.
- Maintain and update Company SOPs to ensure operational excellence.
- Develop and implement workflows to optimise efficiency and knowledge sharing.
- Navigate time-sensitive challenges with grace and agility, resolving urgent matters promptly.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting growth and innovation.
Essential Requirements:
- 5+ years of managerial experience in the entertainment transport industry (Touring, TV, or Film/Television).
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a knack for problem-solving.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Flexibility and adaptability to drive workflows amidst business growth.
- Professional demeanour with a willingness to go above and beyond.
