Membership Administrator - Professional Membership

Are you ready to take the reins of membership administration and drive the success of a professional membership body? We're seeking a charismatic and confident Membership Administrator to join their team in London, 3 days in and 2 days remote. Initially a 3 month temp contract with the possibility of going permanent!

As the Membership Administrator, you'll be the heartbeat of our organisation, overseeing all aspects of membership and ensuring the satisfaction of our valued members. Your entrepreneurial spirit will shine as you identify new opportunities to enhance systems and processes, while your passion for understanding member needs will fuel our mission for positive change in the independent doctors sector.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing membership processes

    • Processing applications, renewals and cancellations, in an accurate and timely manner

    • Assist in developing strategies with the team, to attract new members, such as attending conferences or implementing referral programs

  • Reporting and analysis on membership metrics

  • Financial management - track subscriptions and reconcile accounts

  • Office management ensuring smooth day-to-day running

  • Supporting with the annual journal and special projects alongside the editor

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in membership services

  • Proficiency in membership database management and online payment systems

  • Organisational with the ability to prioritise effectively

  • Familiarity with email campaign software, web CMS, and social media platforms

  • Experience with online meeting facilities such as MS Teams and Zoom
