A fast-growing Finance consultancy specialising in the Creative, Media and Fashion space are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join the team permanently.

This role is responsible for acting as the number 2 within the finance structure, being a key support to the CFO and wider finance team.

Within this role, you will be responsible for producing management accounts for a portfolio of creative clients as well as helping to oversee the more junior staff members.

This role is located in stunning offices in London and is offered on a hybrid basis.

Main responsibilities: (but not limited to)

  • Preparing various management and month-end reports

  • Preparing cash flow reports

  • Balance sheet reconciliations

  • Reviewing and submitting VAT returns

  • Year-end accounting

  • Processing payment runs

  • Liaising with clients and dealing with any queries

  • Supporting junior members of staff with day-to-day duties

  • Training internal client staff

  • Any ad hoc Financial duties as requested by the CFO

Key skills:

  • Ideally, 4-5years' experience minimum working as part of a finance team

  • Ideally a Finalist/Newly Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA)

  • Experience with month-end and management accounting

  • Prior experience with VAT and reconciliations

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Team player with a collaborative work approach

  • Strong MS Excel skills

  • A keen interest in the Music/Media and Entertainment industry
