Are you an immediately available HR Manager who is passionate about sustainability and green living?

Handle are working with an B-Corp sustainability company of around 125 employees whose mission is making the world a greener place. The business is highly values driven, with an informal, diverse, and collaborative culture that puts people at the heart of the business. The company has ambitious goals and in a period of exciting national and international growth so a great time to join!

This new HR Manager will be covering a maternity leave, but due to the business growth there is a chance this might become perm. This is a standalone role (with the support of an external employment law service) and a varied generalist remit. You'll be tasked with building strong relationships across the business at all levels, being that first point of call for line managers on all aspects of the employee life-cycle from ER, learning & Development through to payroll and HR Administration. You'll also deliver on a variety of people focused projects ensuring the company values and vision remains focused.

Ideal candidates will come with a solid generalist skill set and experience in a similar stand alone or autonomous role. You'll be passionate about what you do, and be able to connect and engage with people across the business at all levels. Commercial acumen is key, working in such a fast paced and entrepreneurial setting. And with the varied client group you'll partner with, you'll definitely be a social chameleon who is comfortable adapting your communication style and approach.

As well as Manager level candidates, our client is also open to seeing candidates looking to step up from Advisor to manager if you're someone that can demonstrate the right base level of experience, and proactive can-do attitude!

Working hours are 9am - 5pm, with a hybrid pattern, 3-4 days in the office initially to learn the ropes, then 3 days in and 2 days WFH with flexibility. Some national travel involved with this role, working on-site with local teams.

If this sounds intriguing and you'd like to be considered then please apply!
