Handle are partnering with a leading beauty brand, renowned for their ability to deliver beauty routines that stand the test of time. With a Global presence and continuous growth, the organisation boast a collaborative and progressive culture with a down-to-earth feel. They are seeking a Head of People & Culture to join the team on a permanent basis.
This is a true generalist role, covering all aspects of HR and responsible for the operational aspects of the People Function. You will report into the People Director, supporting on business strategy and partnering closely with stakeholders to push forward new and innovative projects. This includes leading the DEI forum and strategy globally, and implementing new initiatives focused on retention, family leave and upskilling of the current senior team.
The ideal candidate will be a natural leader; you will be confident working with senior leadership and pushing back on ideas to ensure the best HR practice for the company. You will demonstrate a positive and persevering attitude and a non-hierarchical approach that welcomes new ideas and champions the People team. Relationship building is at that heart of this role, being able to connect with your team as individuals, alongside the wider to business to implement change effectively.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will have demonstrated experience in managing complex HR cases and team leadership. You will be well versed in employment law, HR legislation and HR systems. Experience within retail is advantageous but not essential.
The current working model is 3 days in, 2 days from home with flex core hours. Benefits include a 10% discretionary bonus, private medical, 50% discount on products and travel allowance.
