Job Role: Head of Delegate Sales

Location: London

Salary: £50-60k + plus uncapped OTE

Why do we want you?

You a target driven sales hungry leader of a telesales team with experience of selling a new product ideally new paid to attend corporate events. We want you to join our Award winning events team to support our event attendee sales team.

Your key purpose:

  • Deliver the budgeted attendee revenue and sales targets
  • Lead a delegate sales team, working closely with them to deliver their best performance through ongoing coaching, roll play and sales leadership.
  • Create a sales strategy that supports the Events' 3yr plan
  • Develop individual event sales plans that exceed budgeted revenues by securing the right volume of attendees on all products which include Awards, Conferences and Summits
  • Manage, coach, train and motivate your delegate sales team and create a great sales culture
  • Determine and measure relevant KPIs to provide visibility, that help you succeed
  • Embed and evolve good sales process to ensure your team are effective and efficient
  • Evolve the sales function by identifying and implementing initiatives that improve effectiveness and efficiency
  • Motivate and inspire your team by providing great support and recognition
  • Work collaboratively across the Events team, and the Business, to ensure the division meets its revenue, contribution, brand, and people goals.

  • Have successfully led a b2b delegate sales team
  • Experience of day-to-day management of a delegate sales team.
  • Confident writing sales strategies and plans to maximise delegate revenue and volumes.
  • Enjoys analysing data to make better decisions
  • Ability to spot opportunities and have an entrepreneurial outlook.
  • Understands and instils good sales process
  • Owns the sales forecasts and forecast accurately
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Desire to exceed targets.
