I am looking for a Junior FP&A Analyst to join one of my clients who are creating a new era of visual experiences.

Do you have experience in creating models? Do you have experience with SQL? Or a little knowledge of both of either? Than this role is for you!

As the FP&A Analyst you will work under the FP&A Director and you will be at the heart of the business also working closely with the transactional finance team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Assist the team in the budget and forecast processes within the company, collating data and presenting actuals on the full P&L, with ownership of overhead inputs.

  • Contribute to the preparation of monthly board packs inclusive of commentary on key trends and observations on the businesses KPIs.

  • Business partner with multiple departments - involving tracking actuals vs. budget, department performance analysis, project profitability and other ad-hoc management information.

  • Assist the finance managers with the review of monthly variance analysis.

  • Work closely with the wider finance team, operations and sales teams across our key regional geographies focusing on optimisation of margin.

  • Assist the CFO and finance team on ad-hoc projects as required.

  • Identify and establish efficiency improvements and cost savings through FP&A.

  • Work with the BI team to create PowerBI dashboards and data analysis to drive business growth and performance.

Essential Skills:

  • Fully qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA

  • Minimum of 2-3 years within an FP&A role.

  • Modelling experience.

  • Previous experience with working closely with commercial teams.

  • Strong data analysis skills and an ability to manage large data sets from multiple sources

  • A natural curiosity to learn and a 'can do' mentality with a strong preference to suggest solutions rather than just identify problems.

  • Ability to produce and present high quality and accurate analysis to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

  • Excellent with Microsoft and Google Suite - Excel, Word, Sheets, Docs, PowerPoint

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - both written and verbal

  • Able to demonstrate initiative and work to tight deadlines

  • Results driven with high attention to detail.

This role is an interim role to ease some of the pressure on the FP&A Director whilst they focus on some big exciting projects. It is also a hybrid role with 3 days being spent in their trendy office in a central London location.

I am in need of someone who is able to start this role immediately. If you match he requirements and are interested in this role then do not hesitate in applying.
