Finance Manager - Film
I am looking for a Finance Manager to join one of my film clients on an interim basis starting ASAP. This is a hybrid role based in London reporting to the Global CFO.
About the Role
This position is a key role in the Finance team and is critical to the surrounding business. This role will support the Global CFO by managing the day-to-day accounts operations of 2 UK companies and the preparation of their respective P&Ls & Balance sheets.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the UK entities (x2 companies), including the management of the UK Finance Team, AP Clerk and Accounts Assistant.
Preparation of month-end closing tasks, i.e Bank reconciliations, Bank & petty cash FX reconciliations/ journals, Fixed Assets, Accruals & Prepayments, Intercompany recharges
Manage and process Timesheet reporting for Stink Digital globally
Controlling the TB/ Balance Sheets of both UK entities before compiling the monthly Management Accounts, including Job Profitability
Reporting back to the MDs/ CFO of both companies regarding the monthly management account results
Compile monthly employee / IR35 payroll information and paperwork to send to external payroll provider, check and approve payroll reports & manage pension contributions
Sending out weekly/ monthly budgets
Preparation of quarterly VAT returns for both UK entities
Preparation of annual PSA for both UK entities
Preparation of annual audit reports
Assisting the CFO with ad hoc tasks when needed
This is not an exhaustive list and the Finance Manager may be expected to undertake other duties broadly in line with those listed above.
Key Skills Required
Experience in a similar role, for example, 2-3 years
Qualified ACCA or equivalent
Experience in the Film/Media industry is a plus!

Strong attention to detail and an investigative nature
