Handle are currently working with a hugely successful PR Agency, who are looking for a European Finance Manager for a period of 6 months. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in running the finance function and work across numerous European markets. Therefore, my client is looking for a candidate with previous International experience.
Key responsibilities include -
- General bookkeeping for all cost entries such as prepayments, accruals FX variances and payroll etc.
- Provide analysis of variances between actuals and budget/forecasting
- Be the main point of contact for all audit and legal queries
- Produce trial balance and bank reconciliations
- Implement internal controls
- Review postings of AP Assistant
- Business partner with the various country managers and provide them with financial support
- Ad hoc project work
Candidate requirements -
- Qualified Accountant - ACCA, ACA or CIMA (or international equivalent)
- Have worked in a similar senior Finance Manager role, in part of a high-growth business going through change
- Possess both strong commercial acumen, as well as good technical accounting knowledge
- Have international work experience
- Ability to work under pressure in an environment with constantly changing priorities
