Engineering Lead | Python, AWS, Restful APIs | £65,000 - £75,000 | London | Hybrid - 2 to 3 days a week

My client are an exciting Software Start-up who are now part of a Global Consumer Health Champion and they are looking for an Engineering Lead to work on their exceptional product line and look after a technical team.

The successful candidate will be leading a team that focuses on the technical Backend of the products and providing technical leadership across both the Engineering and Product teams.

The essential experience needed for this role is:

  • Team Lead, Technical Lead or Engineering Management experience of a small team
  • Software Engineering experience - Must be in Python
  • Ability to build Restful APIs
  • Experience of building services in the Cloud with AWS
  • Agile methodology experience
  • Understand data and how it can be used to help the business
  • Experience with recruiting, hiring and developing a team of engineers

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Responsible for hiring and developing a diverse team of engineers to support the business as it scales
  • Lead engineering initiatives that help deliver the best experience for their customers
  • Collaborate with other areas of the business to build best in class solutions for their customers and partners
  • Responsible for strengthening and creating Software Development and Devops processes in the organisation

The role is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will be required to be in the office for 2 - 3 days.
