We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Digital Media Executive to help manage the day-to-day editorial operations and contribute to the production of high-quality digital content. This role offers wide-ranging exposure to a fast-paced news and features environment within the media, technology, and broadcasting industry.

The Role:

  • Manage and improve editorial workflows in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Edit, format, and publish content from freelance contributors, ensuring it meets high editorial standards.
  • Source and manage multimedia assets, ensuring appropriate licensing and permissions.
  • Ensure content uploads are accurate, consistent, and aligned with style and quality guidelines.
  • Produce written content across key formats including news, press releases, trends, interviews, and analysis.
  • Write engaging social media copy in support of the editorial calendar and content strategy.
  • Attend industry events and seminars to support content creation.
  • Track and process editorial service invoices, obtaining approvals as needed.
  • Assist in the creation and publishing of video content to support editorial themes.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and distribute content via social channels.
  • Provide training and guidance on editorial platforms and processes when needed.
  • Upload commercial content, ensuring strong presentation and inclusion of digital assets (e.g., video, charts, tweets, etc.).
  • Provide general editorial support and holiday cover for the wider team.

Who we are looking for:

  • Strong experience with content management systems and editorial workflows
  • Excellent writing, sub-editing, and journalistic skills
  • Keen attention to detail with a solid understanding of house style adherence
  • Fast learner with the ability to grasp new tools and tech concepts quickly
  • Highly organised, with excellent multitasking and prioritisation abilities
  • Proficient in using social media platforms to share and promote content
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and tools
  • Self-motivated, goal-driven, and a team player
