Financial Controller with a commercial mindset needed!
Handle are currently working with a hugely successful entertainment business, who are looking for an experienced FC, to take on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is such an attractive position, as it's a hybrid between financial control, management accounts and commercial finance.
Key responsibilities include -
Oversea the monthly management accounts process, with detailed variance analysis
Prepare board packs with in-depth commentary
Manage, mentor and coach a team of 5
Ensure appropriate financial controls and processes are in place
Prepare cashflow forecasts on a regular basis and highlight any key movements
Lead the internal audit process and liaise with tax advisors and external auditors
Oversee the timely and accurate payment of all royalties and work alongside the royalties team to improve processes.
Candidate requirements -
Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA or CIMA
Be a proven, hands on team manager
Experience with some sort of royalty accounting
Have worked in a similar, broad senior position before, with experience in financial control, management accounts and commercial finance
Knowledge of Microsoft dynamics is highly advantageous
Will be required to work in the office 4 days and week (one from home)
