An award-winning TV production company is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to support the growing business. This role is an ideal opportunity for you to get an introduction to the TV industry and corporate accounting in a fast-paced environment. The role has been introduced to assist the current team with the company's growth. Reporting to the Finance Manager, responsibilities include:
- Month End Ledger Close - Closing all ledgers (Sales, Purchase, General Ledger) including revaluation journals.
- Checking bank reconciliations for material error or omission
- Preparing aged debtors reconciliation and working with Production Finance and Corporate Finance teams on status of aged balances
- Reviewing of inter-production reconciliations with productions
- Preparing VAT reconciliation and investigate and correct all reconciling items.
- Facilitating various company recharges to/from production on a periodic basis
- Preparing Quarterly VAT returns
- Supporting senior accountants with process improvements and month-end close
- Contributing to shortening month-end close processes
The successful candidate will be Part-qualified CIMA, ACCA or actively studying towards CIMA/ACCA
