Super excited to be working on a Assistant Management accountant for a fashion retail brand set up by an iconic artist
Based in Hammersmith, this role is hybrid, 3 days in their buzzing office and working from home, they are also offering full study support and would love to find someone who has just started their ACCA/AAT and looking to continue the journey.
Assisting the Finance Manager with monthly management accounts reporting and balance sheet presentations in a timely manner.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist in the month end close and preparation of management accounts
- Tasks include inter company and other balance sheet account reconciliations, payroll, depreciation, accruals, prepayments and other journal adjustments.
- Working closely with finance teams on VAT returns
- Ad hoc analysis, provision of information and support to the wider finance team
- Assisting month end with bank postings and reconciliations
- Assist in providing management with accurate and timely information on sales and stock levels
- Accounts Payable duties where needed
- Help support the business through the yearly audits with duties around preparation of audit schedules, statutory accounts and general queries
- Systems/Processes: Assist with the development of systems and processes to ensure that the PO, invoice, payment processes are adequately addressed
Skills and Requirements:
- Good Excel skills, comfortable with IT systems
- Organised, efficient, self-sufficient person with good interpersonal skills and can-do attitude
- Demonstrate an interest in improving and developing systems and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to prioritise, meet deadlines and targets
- Good team player
- Desirable: wanting to undertake exams eg AAT, ACCA, ACA, CIMA
