Senior User Researcher - £80k - London

A fab new opportunity for a Senior User Researcher has landed on my desk this afternoon.

You'll be working to put users at the centre of our product development process, helping shape the way some of the most followed clubs and organisations in the world of sport engage and inspire millions of fans. You'll be playing an integral role, contributing to the definition of both internal and fan-facing technology. As part of a rapidly growing UX practice, you'll need to thrive in a fast paced environment, be comfortable working with stakeholders, enjoy planning and executing large-scale research projects, and excel at compiling actionable research findings and recommendations on tight timelines. Likewise, you'll need to sell your vision and ideas through excellent communication skills, demonstrating knowledge in your subject matter and instilling confidence with clients and internal stakeholders from the start.
Key Responsibilities
? Experience leading large-scale qualitative and quantitative projects from start to
finish across a wider range of research methods, like usability studies, interviews,
surveys, and field research.
? Comfortable working in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
? Experience managing relationships with clients and stakeholders (including
leading workshops and meetings), helping them to understand the value of
research in product development.
? Well-versed in identifying patterns in research insights, presenting findings, and
developing recommendations to deliver both short and long-term impact.
? Understanding of the complex interplay between business requirements, product
strategy, technical constraints, and user experience.
? Excellent communication skills and an understanding of how to adapt your
story-telling based on your audience
? Strong understanding of the interplay between business requirements, product
strategy, technical constraints, and user experience.
? A relevant degree (Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Sociology, Social Sciences, Anthropology
