Handle are thrilled to be working with a leading talent agency, with an extensive roster of contemporary live bands, artists & DJs, to source a highly competent Assistant to one of the agency's leading agents. You will need to possess a variety of skills including strong organisational and time management skills as well as an ability to bring your passion for the music industry into a role where you can expand your skill set.
This is a great opportunity to learn directly from a well-established agent and work very closely with them, in turn, working with some of the biggest names in music.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing inboxes and telephone enquiries
- Maintaining artist date sheets and handling busy schedules for the associated artists
- Keeping database records up to date
- Insuring artist shows when necessary
- Working with other agents with requested tasks
- Working with various departments and promoters to handle show/tour logistics
- Issuing confirmations, deal memos and contracts (using Dealmaker)
- Liaising with Artists/Artist Managers/Tour Managers directly and handling requests
- Chasing signed contracts, deposits and balances from promoters
- Managing show sheets and weekly ticket sales
You will have:
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task
- Knowledge of tools such as Dropbox, Google Drive, Evernote
- Experience using Mac computers and programmes such as Excel and Word
- A passion for the music industry
- Great administrative experience
