We're supporting a media agency for short-term reception cover. We're looking for a professional and proactive Temporary Receptionist to provide seamless front-of-house support for a dynamic media company. This short-term booking requires an individual who can make an excellent first impression and ensure the smooth running of reception operations.
Please note - First Aid Qualification is required for this post. We won't be able to consider anyone without this. Please ensure it's on your CV.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcoming visitors and staff with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Managing a busy switchboard, answering and redirecting calls efficiently.
Handling deliveries and post, ensuring they are logged and distributed promptly.
Maintaining the reception area, keeping it tidy and professional at all times.
Providing basic administrative support as needed.
Acting as a point of contact in case of emergencies, leveraging your first-aid qualification when necessary.
Key Requirements:
Current and valid First Aid qualification (essential).
Previous experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role, preferably within the media or creative industries.
Strong communication skills and a professional, approachable manner.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to adapt to short-term assignments.
