Qualified Finance Analyst - Entertainment - Central London
A newly created Finance Analyst position has opened up within a leading Entertainment business located in Central London. This role is primarily responsible for supporting the financial reporting and analysis function ofa fast growing company and reports to the FP&A Manager. The role will work closely with the team to develop the FP&A
function and also support the wider Finance department as the company grows.
Key responsibilities:
- Producing month end management accounts analysis pack
- Liaising with departmental Heads to obtain relevant information for monthly reporting responsibilities
- Assist in tracking departmental performance against set revenue and profit targets and goals as required
- Key KPI of the role is to provide timely and accurate reporting of departmental /organisational profit analysis for operational use
- Working with the FP&A team on Company and Group wide budgets, reforecasts and long range forecasts
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analysing actual results with budgets and forecasts
- Assist with financial hedging analysis and other commercial finance analysis as required
- Assist in improving and developing systems and processes to aid automation and output as the Group grows
- Producing ad hoc, project based analysis with quick turnover for use by senior management and various internal and external stakeholders
- Financial modelling of various deal structures/options and scenario analysis
- Helping out the wider Finance team with ad hoc tasks as workload dictates
Key skills:
- Newly Qualified/Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA
- Previous experience within an analytical role
- A background within Media/Entertainment would be desirable
- Aptitude for managing large data sets and organising for purpose
- Skilled and intuitive Excel user with proven Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Hands on, energetic, proactive,self-starter who is able to organise their workload and meet deadlines
