A growing Video production and publishing house are looking for an experienced Production to join the team on a full time permanent basis. You will be responsible for the production accounting for a wide range of clientele and reporting into the business proprietor and senior management team.
The ideal candidate will have a background within Media/Entertainment and a proven track record working within Production Accounting. We are looking for someone who is well versed in MS Excel and someone who is a confident business partner who is comfortable leading conversations to both finance and non finance professionals.
Key responsibilities:
Process supplier and Artist invoices
Maintain accurate and up to date supplier/Artist details and account records
Reconciling supplier account vs. statements
Process and reconcile company cards statements
Populate payment schedule and process bank payments
Queries arising Sales Ledger
Managing bills issued in a timely manor
Credit control & Age reporting
Company cards reconciliation
Maintain accurate and up to date reconciled balances
Managing and ensure jobs are closed out with timely billing of all productions undertaken through the company
Update and reconcile actual production expenditure in the systems
Liaising with Producer's and agents to ensure accuracy of reconciliation
Cashflow reporting
Payroll
VAT Return
Maintain finance control and processes and integration with other business systems
Assisting with internal and external audit process
Ad Hoc admin & operational duties
Key skills:
Prior experience working within Production Accounting
Ideally studying towards or fully qualified ACCA/CIMA
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
IT proficient with strong MS Excel skills
Highly organised with ability to manage own work load
Knowledge of Xero and Dext is a plus
