Production Accountant - Entertainment
Rapidly expanding entertainment company are looking for an experienced production accountant.
Reporting to the Studios Finance Director, the Production Accountant will be assisting with all Production accounting - from checking invoices and expenses, to working with the VP Production in setting budgets and forecasts.
Responsibilities:
Business partnering with producers
Ensuring costs are reported correctly and timely on cost reports
Closing off estimate to complete in line with producers expectations
Preparing the production cashflow for treasury
Presenting numbers to broadcast partners and executives producers
Scenario planning with producers
Requirements:
4 years plus in Production Accounting
Experience with smart accounting or a similar production accounting package
Clear communicator and team player
Knowledge of tax credits and/or movie magic would be desired but not essential
