Temporary Production Accountant
I am looking for a Senior Production Accountant to start as soon as possible to work on an ongoing part time basis (2 days per week).
The successful candidate will be an experienced and accomplished individual with the ability to multi-task in a creative environment. The role requires someone who will be able to support all production accounting and reporting needs whilst working closely with the Line Producer, and Book Keeper.
The ideal candidate may be someone looking to step into a Head of Finance role in the future.
Key Experience -
At least 5 years' experience in the role, with corresponding credits
Experience with main broadcasters such as BBC, Netflix, Channel 4 etc.
Some background in digital platforms (desirable but not essential)
Experience with HMRC and IR35
Substantial experience working with Cost Managers and budgets
Main duties to include:
* Payroll - PAYE & Schedule D
* Managing Company bank accounts and Cashflow
* Dealing with day to day banking queries
* Working alongside a Line Producer and Book Keeper to ensure Cost Manager is kept up to date
* POs
* Invoices and payment runs
* Bank recs
* Credit card recs
* Expenses
* Cost manager recs and weekly / monthly meetings of unders and overs with HoP/HoF
* Cashflow
* TB reporting
* VAT returns
Hybrid role with some work to be done on-site at the Production office in Henley-on-Thames.
