Are you passionate about music, especially jazz? Do you thrive on securing impactful media coverage for artists and events across a range of platforms? Handle are thrilled to be working with a leading music and entertainment PR agency, who represent a diverse array of international stars, rising talent, and iconic festivals.
We're looking for an Account Manager/PR Executive to drive innovative PR campaigns and build strong media relationships. You'll play a pivotal role in supporting the team while managing your own campaigns, working with artists and events that shape the music scene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute PR strategies across print, online, radio, and TV.
- Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets, including BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio 3, NTS, broadsheets, music magazines, blogs, and jazz-centric platforms.
- Generate press coverage, interviews, and features for a range of artists and events.
- Collaborate with artists, management, and labels to align PR strategies with their goals.
- Stay informed about industry trends, with a focus on jazz and adjacent genres.
About You:
- Passion for music: While jazz expertise isn't essential, an appreciation for the genre and its vibrant culture is strongly preferred.
- Experience: At least 2 years' experience in music PR or a related field (radio, press, or online).
- Media-savvy: Familiarity with platforms like BBC 6 Music, NTS, and leading music publications is a big plus.
- Skills: You're a great communicator, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple campaigns.
