Marketing Manager - Promotional Consultancy

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to work for a company who are leaders in global promotional compliance.

They advise brands and agencies on the development and delivery of prize promotions via on pack offers, social, digital, along with judging competitions, running prize draws, implementing 'Willy Wonka' style instant wins and overseeing voting for major TV shows such as ITV's National TV Awards and the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing.

You will be joining a team to support the Head of Marketing. You will gain hands-on experience working with big FMCG brands in all aspects of marketing while contributing to their company's growth and success.

Salary: £40,000 + 2 x company bonuses per year

Location: Pinner

Hours: 9am-5.30pm - Monday, Tuesday & Thursday in the office. Wednesday & Friday at home

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content. Manage the creation and curation of content including photography and video, for social media, email campaigns, and website.

  • Social Media. Prepare and schedule posts, leverage active/prospect clients social media to increase visibility of their services and engage their target audience.

  • Copywriting. Must be comfortable and experienced in writing for a monthly newsletter, social media posts and comments, blogs, press releases, presentations.

  • In the field. Visit supermarkets and other relevant retail outlets to take photos and videos of promotional POS for use in their marketing activity.

  • Brand Toolkit. Manage corporate marketing templates and assets to keep them up to date, easily accessible and available for the team's use.

  • Creative. It is not your responsibility to design all visual assets from scratch however, you must be comfortable in using Canva or similar to create simple branded assets.

  • Support. Partner to plan the effective execution of events, campaigns, and company promotions with lead generation as the end in mind.

Skills Required:

  • Organised & proactive. You will be a self-starter, who can manage your time and tasks effectively with the ability to prioritise.

  • Sales & social media Savvy. You will be working with the Client Relationship Managers (Sales) to write client success stories and case studies to showcase their services.

  • Curious. You should be knowledgeable about latest marketing practices, industry trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities.

  • Be comfortable monitoring and report on marketing campaign performance using analytics tools.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite in particular PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Experience of managing social media platforms, in particular LinkedIn.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills.

  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow in the field of marketing.

  • Curiosity - wanting to know why, searching for answers.
