A fast growing Finance consultancy specialising in the Creative, Media and Fashion space are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis. This role is responsible for acting as the number 2 within the finance structure, being a key support to the CFO and wider finance team.

Within this role you will be responsible for producing management accounts for a portfolio of creative clients as well as helping to oversee the more junior staff members.

This role is located in stunning offices in London and offered on a hybrid basis.

Main responsibilities: (but not limited to)

  • Preparing various management and month end reports

  • Preparing cash flow reports

  • Balance sheet reconciliations

  • Reviewing and submitting VAT returns

  • Year-end accounting

  • Processing payment runs

  • Liaising with clients and dealing with any queries

  • Supporting junior members of staff with day to day duties

  • Training internal client staff

  • Any ad hoc Financial duties as requested by the CFO

Key skills:

  • Ideally 4- 5 year's experience minimum working as part of a finance team

  • Ideally a Finalist/Newly Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA)

  • Experience with month end and management accounting

  • Prior experience with VAT and reconciliations

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Team player with a collaborative work approach

  • Strong MS Excel skills

  • A keen interest in the Music/Media and Entertainment industry
