IT Support Entertainment Events On site London Inside IR35 Contract 3 month rolling

Handle is working with a Global Entertainment Events Company to hire an experienced 1st & 2nd Line Support Specialist.

Joining a highly skilled team you will be responsible foe supporting IT services and infrastructure at a number of London's landmark entertainment venues.

Duties will include

- Remote and desk-side Service Desk duties at a first line level.
- Imaging of new and existing desktop and laptop hardware.
- Migrating users between Windows 7 and Windows 10 using supplied documentation.
- Setting up equipment for new starters.
- Providing IT support to events and helping with event roll-outs.
- Supporting meeting room hardware

KEY SKILLS:
Essential
You will:
o Have the ability to form good, effective working relationships with all levels of staff.
o Be able to use initiative, work with minimum supervision, organise your time effectively, be able to organise and deliver to agreed timescales.
o Have experience of providing IT Service Desk style support to end users using Windows 7 and Windows 10.
o Be able to troubleshoot issues with desktops and laptop hardware, common software applications including Microsoft Office and common office IT hardware such as printers and scanners.
o Have administration experience of working with core Microsoft technologies in an enterprise environment, such as Windows Active Directory.
o Have an understanding of network technologies including TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP.
o Be able to troubleshoot network or Internet connectivity issues and be able to work with network hardware and cabling.
o Have a record of producing accurate detailed reports, being organised and tidy, paying attention to detail and of working to agreed standards.
o Have a confident and professional telephone manner, good spoken and written English, and excellent customer service skills.
o Have a positive "can do" attitude.
o Be a team player who enjoys working in a high achieving environment.
o Have a commitment to delivering the best.

Desirable
o ITIL qualifications and/or knowledge.
o Experience of configuring and supporting Cisco VoIP telephony systems.
o Experience of working with broadcast equipment and an understanding of the broadcast cabling and technologies used in arenas and stadiums.
o Have previously worked in a media, event or hospitality business.
