Handle are currently working with a market leading global media brand, who are looking for a Financial Accountant to help them with an ongoing global project. This is a huge project which involves lots of analysis, data manipulation, business partnering, accounting and reporting. This is a 12-18 month fixed term contract, working as part of a busy project team.
My client is looking for a technically strong qualified Accountant, who is very analytically minded and a confident business partner.
Key responsibilities include -
- Advise various stakeholders on financial accountability and confirm legal entity and company data points
- Produce statutory trial balances
- Assist with analysis and clarification of the finance and tax data points
- Act as a business partner to various teams including IT, Legal and Tax
- Ensure that the process is documented to a high standard as required by audit
- Help identify improvement opportunities to enable process efficiencies
Candidate requirements -
- Qualified accountant with strong technical finance knowledge (local GAAPs, IFRS etc)
- Experience of working for a large global blue-chip business
- Excellent relationship management skills, and be able to work with finance and non-finance individuals
- Manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines
- Be a self-starter and work using your own initiative
