Handle Recruitment are thrilled to be partnering with one of the leading advertising and marketing agencies in the creative sectors with a key focus on Entertainment, Culture and Arts to source an experienced Head of Sales, Ticketing, and Insight. We are looking for a dedicated senior candidate to lead and oversee the day to day running of the department whilst playing a vital part within the business to develop and maintain relationships with key clients, analyse client data regarding audiences, sales, targets, advertising campaigns and collaborate with a variety of teams. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop client recommendations based on data-driven insights that achieve their business objectives.
  • Analyse and present marketplace data and advertising campaign impact.
  • Provide exceptional service to clients and maintain strong partnerships across a portfolio of accounts.
  • Work collaboratively with the Head of Data to manage and develop agency data visualisation tools and solutions.
  • Analyse client data regarding audiences, sales, targets, and advertising campaigns.
  • Create revenue trackers, forecasts, targets, and benchmarks.
  • Oversee the daily workflow and management of the department.
  • Promote best practices within the department by taking responsibility for staff training and development.
  • Support other teams with insights to develop marketing strategies, media buying, and promotions.
  • Collate combine third-party data sources on client's competitive landscape.
  • Identify and utilise new external data sources to understand customer behaviour.
  • Deliver clear, evidence-based recommendations that align with client business objectives.
  • Present analyses verbally, in writing, and using data visualisation.
  • Ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the department.
  • Exhibit exemplary values and conduct as a senior member of the company.
  • Provide weekly progress reports to the Managing Director.
  • Manage the distribution of resources across the team to achieve optimal results and efficiency.
  • Research the impact of advertising on sales performance.
  • Deliver timely insights to colleagues and clients on how their product is selling in market against its competitors.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Microsoft BI.
  • Exceptional ability to present data, recommendations, and strategies clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • A demonstrable enthusiasm for theatre, museums, galleries, or live entertainment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Advance skills in data analysis tools like SQL, Python, Alteryx.
  • Considerable experience in pricing optimisation, data-driven decision making, and revenue management.
  • Significant experience in ticketing, live entertainment marketing or box offices
