Handle Recruitment is seeking a commercial sales team leader for a B2B business powering the marketing and creative industries worldwide, helping influential brands and companies use creativity to drive growth.
Taking on a 12 month FTC you will lead the subscriptions based Intelligence side of the business.
As the Head of Commercial your responsibilities will include:
- Providing accurate reporting from salesforce, tracking vs budget and target.
- Hitting and overachieving set revenue targets and KPI goals
- Training & coaching individual team members to achieve the highest level of consistent sales performance possible - formally and informally
- Nurturing an atmosphere for team members to thrive and achieve their potential
- Providing structured coaching on a group and individual level to motivate team members
- Constructing, implementing and monitoring individual performance plans - including development plans for core/developing talent and improvement plans
- Ensuring that the team follows all handover processes to ensure the best experience for clients
- Recruiting and training any new starters
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience of leading subscriptions-based information sales teams
- Understanding of revenue forecasting and ability to report up in the business
- Experience using sf to track and report on revenue and risk
- Ability to create a dynamic environment for the team which can change quickly to make sure goals are achieved
- A genuine interest in using data to back up decision making, with the ability to manipulate data in Excel, Salesforce and a willingness to understand new systems
