We are looking for candidates ready to make their first step in Finance. We have a full time permanent opportunity working as a Sales Ledger Assistant within the Entertainment industry looking for school leavers or recent graduates looking to take their first career move!

You will be provided full training to help you get settled and up to speed. You will be welcomed by a friendly and collaborative team, a environment where you can thrive and continue adding to your skill set and carve out a successful career in Finance.

Key duties:

  • To raise and process invoices within timescales agreed with the Sales Ledger Controller.

  • To ensure unallocated cash is kept to a minimum.

  • To perform all aspects of the sales ledger administration procedure.

  • To speak with customers regarding overdue invoices constructively by telephone or email within agreed timescales, ensuring issues are discussed with internal departments and the Sales Ledger Controller.

  • To investigate anomalies or queries relating to invoices by liaising with Finance colleagues and other internal departments, as instructed by the Sales Ledger Controller.

  • To issue statements to customers using established guidelines and procedures.

  • To complete Customer Account reconciliations when required.

  • To escalate expected non-payments of overdue debts to the Sales Ledger Controller as appropriate.

  • To liaise with internal departments to set up new customer accounts.

  • To produce monthly/weekly sales ledger statements and reports for the Sales Ledger Controller's review.

  • Process and control of ticketing daily cash returns

  • To perform weekly bank reconciliations

  • Process and control of the ticketing daily cash returns


Key skills:

  • Have studied a subject closely related to Finance

  • Has a genuine passion for carving a long term career within Finance

  • Enthusiastic and eager to get stuck in

  • Interested in the Entertainment industry

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
