Financial Controller - Creative Media - Central London
A newly created Financial Control position has opened up within a leading Media business in Central London. This position will be responsible for developing a strong framework by which expenses can be managed, controlled, and analysed to support both a controlled expense management and an ability to look forwards and support the business in decision making.

Key responsibilities:
- Accurate and timely reporting of month end P&L and balance sheet for expenses in line with timetable to the company and group function
- Manage all elements of the expense Balance Sheet with all accounts reconciled monthly
- Analysis of key issues
- Analysis of expense data across multiple parameters to support forward performance management.
- Help design processes to identify opportunities, capture activity and monitor delivery of expense management actions to correct or improve future performance
- Monitor impact of business investments in the financial results and provide analysis of investment impact against expected outcomes
- Seek opportunities for process improvement and automation to improve efficiency and timeliness of finance processes
- Support global teams including but not limited to implementation of Workday, Adhoc reporting and query resolution
- Support in the management of day-to-day deliverables of and financial metrics of the service centre cost base
- Provide supporting MI to help manage day to day relationships with Agency CFOs and business partners to coordinate financial processes
Key skills:
- Qualified Accountant or equivalent - 3 years + PQE Experience
- Experience in a multinational organisation dealing with multiple entities / business lines
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications.
- Strong analytical skills
- Organised, pro-active and a self-starter with a "Can do" attitude
