A fantastic opportunity has become available for a qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) Finance Business Partner to join one of the world's most unique and inspiring Publishers.

The Finance Business Partner is a pivotal role supporting the CEO, CFO and the Senior Management Group, providing high-quality business partnering and accurate, actionable financial analysis and insight to the team.

  • To provide financial expertise to drive informed decisions and optimal return on resources and investments, driving insightful financial analysis and value-oriented support to the business.

  • To prepare timely and accurate management accounts, budgets and rolling forecasts including weekly sales reports.

  • Responsible for the creation of month end reports, Board packs and commentary in collaboration with the senior team; presenting the business story through the presentation of financial data.

  • Work with the senior team to develop KPIs and a dashboard to record and track progress.

  • Develop pricing methodologies suitable for products and engage in scenario planning and financial modelling to support new ideas and opportunities.

  • To undertake financial analysis to identify trends using data and business information and

  • Provide value added support, ensuring that non-financial stakeholders have a clear understanding of the financial information available and communicating potential risks and opportunities, pro-actively challenging plans where appropriate.

  • Play a key role in cross functional initiatives by assuming day-to-day project leadership and enabling cross-departmental collaboration.

  • Work with the finance team to identify opportunities for improvements to process and systems, acting as superuser for the Oracle Netsuite system.

  • Ad hoc project work, which may include preparation of business plans (e.g. new product launches, brand extensions etc), financial modelling for performance improvement.

The ideal candidate:

  • Must be Fully Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).

  • Must have a strong finance background, with a deep knowledge and understanding of budgeting, forecasting, reporting and financial analysis with strong technical accounting skills
