Handle are delighted to be working with a unique and forward thinking music management company in their search for an accounts assistant to join their buzzing London team. This role will be a dynamic position supporting the management accountant with the day to day finance operations of the business. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for someone to work in a fast paced music environment as well as a growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconciling multiple bank accounts on a regular basis

  • Raising and posting sales invoices

  • Preparing VAT returns

  • Assisting the Management Accountant posting journal entries at month end

  • Daily review of the bank and weekly update of cash flows

  • Accounts payable: posting invoices onto Xero, reviewing supplier statements

  • Team expense processing and coding review

  • Monitoring Accounts inbox: responding to emails, escalating, as necessary

  • Work with the Label teams on Artist budget trackers and updating budgets with actuals regularly

  • Support Management Accountant on reports and analysis for Company Meetings and board packs.

  • Reconciliation of intercompany transactions

  • Prepare weekly pay runs

You will be:

  • 1 year experience within a finance role

  • ACCA part qualified desired but not essential

  • Experience with Xero desired

  • Experience with accounts payable

  • Advanced excel knowledge including pivot tables and v-lookups.

  • Great communicator and enjoys working in a fast paced environment

  • A passion for all things music

  • Great attention to detail and organisation skills

This role will be mostly office based and you must be willing to do four days a week from a central London office, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about their music and looking for a finance role in the sector.
