Handle are delighted to be working with a unique and forward thinking music management company in their search for an accounts assistant to join their buzzing London team. This role will be a dynamic position supporting the management accountant with the day to day finance operations of the business. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for someone to work in a fast paced music environment as well as a growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

Reconciling multiple bank accounts on a regular basis
Raising and posting sales invoices
Preparing VAT returns
Assisting the Management Accountant posting journal entries at month end
Daily review of the bank and weekly update of cash flows
Accounts payable: posting invoices onto Xero, reviewing supplier statements
Team expense processing and coding review
Monitoring Accounts inbox: responding to emails, escalating, as necessary
Work with the Label teams on Artist budget trackers and updating budgets with actuals regularly
Support Management Accountant on reports and analysis for Company Meetings and board packs.
Reconciliation of intercompany transactions
Prepare weekly pay runs

You will be:

1 year experience within a finance role
ACCA part qualified desired but not essential
Experience with Xero desired
Experience with accounts payable
Advanced excel knowledge including pivot tables and v-lookups.
Great communicator and enjoys working in a fast paced environment
A passion for all things music
Great attention to detail and organisation skills

This role will be mostly office based and you must be willing to do four days a week from a central London office, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about their music and looking for a finance role in the sector.
