A 3-month temporary position has just become available for an experienced communications Campaign Manager to join a higher education business, to help implement a new communications strategy across their student focused service.

The Role

  • Develop and implement an effective multi-channel communication strategy
  • Working closely with the internal comms team to ensure student facing communication is aligned to our
  • Keep abreast of the annual calendar of events and promote specific campaigns
  • Leading on copy and content for campaigns
  • Lead on overseeing, improving and updating content hosted on student platforms, website and social media channels, finger of pulse of new technologies to ensure high quality output
  • Providing regular reports on student engagement with our campaigns and communications, measuring their success against targets

Person Specification

  • Experience and examples of producing digital content across a wide range of platforms.
  • Excellent written and presentation skills, along with an ability to edit written and visual output.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills, able to prioritise under pressure and handle competing deadlines.
  • A strong understanding of delivering content for different target audiences, with the ability to write content for formal and academic audiences way.
  • Experience of editing and optimising content on digital channels and experience of editing images and video content.
  • Experience of scheduling communications in advance through a tool like Hootsuite.
