Handle Recruitment is seeking a Commercial Operations Lead to join a global leading content and networking events platform in the Fintech space.

*This is a contract role to begin ASAP until the event in June, up to £50k pro-rata with hybrid working in Holborn. Requires travel to support onsite in June*

This is a core role both in the lead up to and during the onsite delivery of the show and responsibilities will include:

  • Serving as the main point of contact for enterprise account sponsors throughout the show cycle and on-site, ensuring their needs are met and their experience is positive.
  • Overseeing the delivery of sponsored features and activations for enterprise accounts from the RFP process to on-site execution and working closely with the commercial and event operations teams to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Collaborating closely with the Commercial Product Team to explore opportunities, advise on costings, and address operational needs for bespoke sponsorships, with a focus on fostering long-term partnerships with enterprise clients.
  • Cultivating solid, ongoing relationships with sponsors to ensure their continued satisfaction and engagement.
  • Working in tandem with the Commercial Operations Lead for each event to manage sponsorship execution costs, maintaining open lines of communication with the finance team and providing regular updates on enterprise account performance. Including support on various regional projects as needed.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience in managing operational delivery of enterprise account sponsorships, ideally for large scale B2B events.
  • Ability to work in a high-performing, fast paced environment
  • Self-motivation, with accountability to set own goals
  • Superior organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent communications skills and great customer service
  • Availability to start a contract role ASAP, with flexibility to work across different time zones if needed and able to travel to Europe to support onsite at the event.
