COMMERCIAL ACCOUNTANT - CREATIVE AGENCY - LONDON
We have a fantastic opportunity for a part qualified Commercial Accountant to work with innovative creative agency on a permanent basis. Here you will be working closely with the Head of Finance & Operations to ensure the best commercial practice is seen across the businesses transactions. We are looking for a passionate individual with a positive can do attitude, who's strives for nothing but excellence in a fast paced exciting environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to):
- Working in close partnership with Client Services
- Working with the team to confirm and process monthly revenue recognition
- Building revenue forecasts alongside Client Services
- Monthly finance meetings with Client Service teams
- Training and on-boarding new joiners on Commercial finance processes
- Monthly WIP reports & any commentary necessary
- Monthly Pre-bill reconciliation & any commentary necessary
- Monthly revenue forecasts & new business pipeline
- Monthly packs on job profitability, and servicing for Client Services
- Tracking SOW hours against actual time for Head of Finance
- Awareness of Aged Debtors (reporting and credit control sits with Finance Assistant)
SKILLS:
- Commercially focused with great organisational skills and attention to detail
- An individual that is happy to work with both finance and non-finance staff
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a smaller team
- Excellent communication and team player
- Experience with revenue WIP and billing
- 3+ years in a finance role
- Qualified or Part qualified in related certification (ACCA/CIMA/AAT)
