We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join the team with pop culture specialist agency. Here you will have a mixture of financial responsibilities alongside some office management duties. A successful must have excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to handle day to day routine as well as last minute requests and thrive within a fast paced and creative environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the team in raising and issuing client invoices
  • Support the Account Handling and Production Teams with processing supplier invoices
  • Reconcile entries in Xero and clear bank account transactions
  • To check entries raised by staff and follow up on errors
  • Debtors control & follow up on outstanding invoices
  • Liaise with external accountants where necessary
  • Preparing weekly supplier payment runs
  • Smooth day to day running of the office using a range of software, which includes email, spreadsheets, and databases
  • Arrange team meetings and away days
  • Manage subscriptions/insurance/employee benefits, ensuring accurate recording of details
  • Manage our memberships to industry bodies and booking of employees on courses
  • Develop and implement new administrative systems to improve the efficiency of the team and be responsible for training relevant team members for successful and quick implementation
  • Working closely with the team to understand their challenges and requirements to deliver a seamless and positive experience, and supporting in any way required
  • Undertake office induction for all new starters, providing them with key information on the office and its location

SKILLS:

  • Excellent administration skills with keen eye for detail
  • Experience of working within an agency in a similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A friendly, warm personality with a love of delivering great service
  • Hard working and confident
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work
  • Strong Microsoft skills including Word, Excel etc.
  • Self-motivated and pro-active
  • Able to handle high volume of data processing
