AV Manager - London (opportunity to travel), 50K
A Global Leader in entertainment venues are looking for a dynamic AV Manager to head up their UK venues.

Your new role
You will be the AV Manager for all venues in the UK. Managing the day to days and leading the expansion of the business's owned hardware and solutions that support a best in class digital signage platform.
Your work will enable stakeholders to leverage the companies digital signage platforms both commercially and creatively.
You will be technically skilled as your new position will sit within the Global Technology team who are responsible for providing IT, broadcast, connectivity, telephony and support services to both staff and events within all company owned or managed venues / offices across the globe.
Key activities
- Manage and support the audio-visual systems at venues in the United Kingdom. This includes looking after our large format LED screens, televisions, playout systems and IPTV systems.
- Ensure that faults with audio-visual systems are resolved as quickly as possible, keeping stakeholders informed of the status of repairs and record progress.
- Manage suppliers who support and maintain our audio-visual systems, including negotiating agreements and enforcing Service Level Agreements.
- Recommend and arrange proactive maintenance tasks to reduce the likelihood of failures and the number of reactive maintenance visits.
- Work with Global Partnerships and Marketing departments and other stakeholders to design, specify and tender for new LED screens and audio-visual solutions.
- Project manage the delivery of new LED screens and audio-visual solutions..
- Work with production crews to integrate and leverage pre-installed digital signage solutions within arena bowls and auditoriums for events.
Your skills
- Essential
- Have strong technical skills to support and troubleshoot issues with large format LED screens, televisions, playout systems and IPTV systems.
- Have experience of project managing the installation of large format LED screens and other audio-visual solutions.
- Understanding of copper, fibre and other technologies or terminologies commonly used within the digital signage industry.
- Have experience of managing suppliers and negotiating contracts.
- You will be highly autonomous
- Be able to demonstrate experience of producing good quality documentation
- Outstanding communication skills
- Have a positive "can do" attitude
- Have a commitment to delivering the best.
- Desirable
- Experience with Telentice, Cisco Vision, TriplePlay or Daktronics digital signage solutions.
- Experience of designing within and operating the Disguise video playback solution, including creation of in-house content and architecture to support remote management and triggers.
- Configuration level knowledge of Novastar video processors and receivers.
- Experience with Intel NUC and Brightsign hardware, including repairs and replacement of components
