A podcast company is hiring an Audio Producer to join their factual content team on a 9-month contract. As a producer within this award-winning company, who work on some of the biggest and best podcast titles, you will be responsible for producing in-house productions, project managing third party commissions from conception to delivery. You will be well-connected, abreast of industry best practices and have distinctive creative judgement.
Responsibilities
- Project manage in-house and commissioned third party productions
- Provide creative input and production support
- Communicate and align with on project status cross functionally across the business
- Originate ideas and formats for new programs
- Provide notes, script editing and other development support for both in-house and third party pitches
- Help oversee larger, multi-platform, business critical projects as and when needed.
- Work with internal business intelligence and customer insight teams, and be comfortable with data informed decision making.
The candidate
- Previous experience in conceiving, scripting and producing short and long form audio content essential.
- A background within factual, wellness and self-development content is highly desirable
- Experience of producing, directing talent in the studio, script editing, sound recording
- A genuine passion and love for storytelling
