We are looking for a seasoned Tax specialist to join a Boutique practice located in the heart of London. You will be working closely with an experienced Senior Tax and Accounting Manager where you will delve into a role which is predominately advisory based along with Tax and business development duties.

The ideal candidate will have some experience working within a Tax function and ideally be studying towards either at ATT or CTA qualification. We are looking for someone with discreet office manners, highly professional and able to confidently communicate with clients.

The company offer hybrid working with just 3 days in the office per week, a smart casual dress code and working so closely with the Senior Tax and Accounting Manager you will gain great exposure and be given the opportunity for continued progression and development.

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparation of personal tax returns

  • To be responsible for ensuring both personal and corporate clients are compliant for a portfolio of clients companies and their directors.

  • Review of forms P11D for a portfolio of businesses.

  • Review of corporation tax returns.

  • Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients.

  • Assisting with HMRC enquiries into personal and corporate tax returns.

  • Instructing Client Billing.

  • Assisting with new client engagement where required

  • Some accounting knowledge beneficial (IFRS compliance)

  • Working directly with practice Director and Tax & Accounting Senior Manager

  • Assisting on tax advisory projects for existing clients and prospects.

  • Carrying out technical research on a wide range of areas to assist Senior Managers and Directors.

  • Identifying tax planning opportunities within individual and corporate client portfolios.

  • Meeting with existing clients and potential clients.

  • Advising property investors and developers - corporate and individual

  • Non-dom planning, residency, expat planning

  • Drafting advisory emails with a view to preparing formal written advisory reports

  • To work with management and directors to formulate a practice marketing strategy.

  • To prepare client appropriate output for Twitter, LinkedIn and other social media platforms.

  • To develop the practice website, promoting the practice areas of expertise with written.
